LMF Motor Factors opened its doors in Early March 2020. 

Matthew Alaoui was the former Business development manager at LDS Motor Factors. LDS was one of several acquisitions of Motor Factors, by the Alliance Automotive in South Wales. Matthew   could now see a gap in the market for another independent motor factor in the town, he decided to approach Lyndon to get some advice about starting his own business. After numerous discussions about getting the right deals from suppliers and how to buy right, Lyndon proposed the idea of a partnership and to invest in Matthew's business plan. This was the perfect opportunity for both and they started to plan the future of the new independent factors to open in Barry which would be named LMF Motor factors, the business has also grown to the Rhondda Valley.

What makes a business successful is the staff you employ, so Matthew needed to get the best team on board. He advertised for parts advisors and delivery drivers on indeed and was pleasantly surprised with the level of interest and with certain applicants. Alex Webb had also worked for Lyndon for many years like Matthew and was interested in sharing the journey with them, he is now the parts advisors / manager at LMF in Barry. Other former colleagues showed interest in the positions available, Gary Bennett, Sue Harford, which are all very loyal employees who worked for Lyndon for over 20 years and wanted to join the team.

LMF Motor Factors opened on the 9th March 2020 in Main street. We now have multiple delivery drivers which cover the Vale of Glamorgan and Penarth, we deliver free of charge to all our Trade customers whatever the part. LMF have a vast range of stock from vehicle accessories to brakes, clutches, service items and many more. LMF Motor Factors pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and after sales. 

Matthew is extremely grateful for the opportunity Lyndon has given him and feels very lucky to have such a supportive partner. They are both positive and excited for the future of LMF and to be back to doing what they are passionate about. 

In September 2023, We opened our second depot in the Rhondda Valley.
